14/05: Διάλεξη "Mathematical Models of Analysis and Optimization of Elastoplastic Systems"

Ανακοινώνεται ότι στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος LLP/ERASMUS TEACHING MOBILITY θα δοθεί διάλεξη στα Αγγλικά, από τον Καθηγητή Rimkus Liudvikas του Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania με τίτλο «Mathematical Models of Analysis and Optimization of Elastoplastic Systems». Η διάλεξη απευθύνεται σε φοιτητές κυρίως της Δομοστατικής κατεύθυνσης και σε φοιτητές του Διατμηματικού Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών “Δομοστατικός Σχεδιασμός και Ανάλυση των Κατασκευών” της Σχολής Πολ. Μηχανικών ΕΜΠ.
Η διάλεξη θα δοθεί στα Αμφιθέατρα 1,2 τη Δευτέρα 14/05/2012 και ώρα 17.00.

Content of the teaching Program
The mathematical models of the analysis and optimization problems for a discrete elastic-plastic structure under three types of loading (monotonically increasing, cyclic and movable) are presented. Three principal types of problems are considered:

1) the determination of the limit load parameter
2) the determination of optimum distribution of limit forces
3) the analysis of the structure under complete plastic failure. The extremum energy principles and the theory of duality of mathematical programming are applied to the derivation of the mathematical models. The formulation and solution of the problems are illustrated by the designs of frames
